I really enjoy painting wood, especially if it has an intricate grain, or a rather weathered and battered appearance. Hence I was drawn to this rather beautiful but tatty hulk. At the front of the keel, I created a hollowed out depression in the compacted sand to give the impression that she had been laying here for some time with successive outgoing tides gradually excavating a final resting place.

A2 or A3 unframed Giclee Print print with a plain border, individually signed by the artist and embossed with the Steve Russell Studios stamp of authenticity. Individually printed in a numbered limited edition of 20.
