Beach Ball

This painting explores the concept of layers in open space. Firstly there are the beach huts above the water level. Then there are the reflections, waves and most notably, the beach ball on the water level, and finally, you are drawn beneath the water level to the pebbles and seaweed on the sea floor. The challenge was to convey the sense of reflection from the surface of the water whilst retaining the idea of transparency.
A2 unframed Giclee Print print with a plain border, individually signed by the artist and embossed with the Steve Russell Studios stamp of authenticity. Individually printed in a numbered limited edition of 20.
